Visit to an embroidery factory and climb to the beautiful village of Monte where you can take the opportunity to make, optionally, the famous descent by basket-car. Return to Funchal and visit to the Oliveiras wine cellar. Afternoon at leisure. At the end of the afternoon transport to a local restaurant for a typical dinner of “Espetada” and fried corn in a festive atmosphere, with a Madeiran Folkloric Group. A night of gastronomy and Madeiran dances that you will never forget. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Departure from Funchal towards Camacha, a major center of handicrafts in wicker. We continue to Poiso and Pico do Arieiro (the 2nd highest peak of the island). Descent to Ribeiro Frio with the possibility of a 25 min. walk. Departure to the north coast until Faial and lunch. Continue to Santana to enjoy the culture and customs of the region. Return to Funchal through Porto da Cruz, Portela and Machico. Overnight.

Complete visit through the west part of the island: Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão and Ribeira Brava (with stop), following by the coast through Ponta do Sol, Calheta, Prazeres and Fonte do Bispo towards Paul da Serra. Descent to Porto Moniz, place of the natural pools and lunch. The return to Funchal is made by the North coast: Seixal, São Vicente, Rosário and Encumeada. Lodging.

In the afternoon, departure towards Pico dos Barcelos, one of the best viewpoints of Funchal’s amphitheatre, following to Eira do Serrado that offers one of the best views of the interior of the island, especially Curral das Freiras. Descent to the center of the village to taste one of the most appreciated drinks of Madeira – ginja. Return to Funchal and accommodation.

Drive to the Gullfoss region, the Golden waterfall, and the geothermal zone where the great Geyser is located. Continue to Pingvellir National Park, one of the most important sites in the country’s history and with impressive geology. Accommodation in Reykjavik.
